Stacey was a wonderful teacher. The Nelson School of Yoga offered a comfortable place to learn and be myself, with a schedule that worked well with my full-time job. I appreciated the blend of classroom sessions, asana, meditation, and pranayama practice, as well as time spent outdoors in nature to inspire a deeper connection to yoga philosophy. This experience facilitated an inward journey of reflection and personal growth. I gained knowledge, built confidence, and developed skills and tools for teaching yoga and deepening my own practice. I will forever be changed by this experience—in the best way possible.

I just completed a 200hr YTT course at Nelson School of Yoga and there isn’t a heart emoji big enough to capture how much I loved the experience. Stacey is a total pro - an incredible yogi on and off the mat, an experienced and passionate teacher and a wonderful person to spend time with. The beautiful Shala has a strong community around it - including the students, teachers and members - and I felt fully supported by everyone. Being in my 50s and suffering from imposter syndrome on the yogi front, I was nervous about signing up for the course but I needn’t have worried. Stacey helped me push through my fears. She was very thorough with the content delivery and super patient with questions and clarifications. If you are interested in deepening your understanding of yoga and your practice, then I would highly recommend Stacey’s course, regardless of whether you plan to teach. You will not regret it!! Namaste 🙏

Stacey at Nelson School of Yoga is a deep well of knowledge and experience, understanding the intricacies of yoga alignment and philosophy. She generously shared her knowledge with us and thoroughly answered any and all questions that came up throughout the training. I appreciated that there wasn’t the “yoga hierarchy” that can be felt in some spaces- she was kind, caring and humble and has cultivated a space that attracts other high quality teachers which also provided a well rounded experience. I felt so lucky to be receiving my training from Stacey and I would 100% recommend any trainings she does!
